K-Structure (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the K-Structure mobile application, an e-learning platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our app. Please read it carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us and information that is collected automatically:

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number (used for OTP login and verification).
• Profile information: Optional profile picture, bio, and preferences you set in the app.
• Learning data: Course enrollments, lesson progress, quiz attempts, assignment submissions, and certificates.
• Payment information: Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and app usage data necessary to deliver and improve our services.
• Communication preferences: Your choices for notifications (email, SMS, course updates) as configured in Settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the K-Structure app and e-learning services.
• Authenticate you via OTP (SMS) and manage your account.
• Process course enrollments, payments, and issue certificates.
• Track your learning progress and deliver personalized course content.
• Send you course updates, notifications, and important service messages (email and/or SMS, according to your preferences).
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the app.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, or misuse of our services.
• Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms of service.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: When you have agreed to such sharing.
• Service providers: With trusted partners who help us operate our platform (e.g., hosting, SMS/email delivery, payment processing) under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government request.
• Safety and rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of K-Structure, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure authentication (OTP), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data in accordance with our retention policy and applicable law.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct: Update or correct your profile and account information in the app.
• Delete: Request deletion of some or all of your data (without deleting your account), or delete your account and associated data (see below).
• Opt-out: Disable notifications (email, SMS, course updates) in app Settings at any time.
• Data portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable.

6a. Request Data Deletion (Some or All – Without Deleting Your Account)

You can request that we delete some or all of your data without deleting your account:

• Link to request data deletion: Request data deletion. Use this page to request deletion of some of your data (e.g. profile, learning history) or all of your data. We will process your request and confirm; you can keep your account.
• By email: Email privacy@kstructure.com with subject Request Data Deletion (K-Structure). Include the phone and email linked to your account and whether you want to delete some or all of your data.

We will remove or anonymize the requested data in line with our retention policy and applicable law. Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so.

6b. Request Account & Data Deletion

You can also request that we delete your account and all associated personal data:

• In the app: Open Settings → Delete Account. You will verify your identity via OTP; once confirmed, we will permanently delete your account and associated data.
• By email: If you cannot use the app (e.g. lost device, uninstalled), email privacy@kstructure.com with subject Request Account & Data Deletion. Include the phone number and email associated with your account. We will process your request and confirm once your account and data have been removed.

We will remove or anonymize your personal data in line with our retention policy and applicable law. Some data may be kept where we have a legal obligation to retain it.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take steps to delete such information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
